Internships

I was telling someone that one of the things that I’ll miss a lot after graduating are internships. I love doing internships. Internships are a great way to explore something new. Unlike a course or a lecture, in an internship you get to see and do things first hand, working with people who do these things as part of their day job. You get to work with new people, in new environment, making new friends. The best thing is, however it is, good or bad, it will be over after two months. If it turns out to be good, you can do it again and maybe make a career out of it. If it was bad, it is over anyway. High potential upside and bounded downside.

BTW you if end up doing bad internship, by that I mean you end up working at a bad organization, make sure you figure out exactly what is the thing they do wrong but also what is the thing they are doing right, there must be something because they manage to survive.
