Algorithm and Your Editor

Earlier we used to have an editor, now we have an algorithm. It is one who not only chooses what we should see but also what is worth seeing and knowing about. It can be biased and “unethical” like a human being. Running on other people’s computer the algorithm is unpredictable, opaque and unaccountable.
